In the year 2012 of the human era, on the slopes of Mount Zamarin, two wandering souls met: Jenia Vasilenko and Yoav Or.

Like in ancient tales of journeys, this meeting was not just an encounter, but the beginning of a magical path.

From that moment on, the two set out on a journey across the blue planet called Earth. Along the way, they created art in many forms: painting, dance, still photography and video, and above all, songs born from small moments of life. Quiet songs, and at times stormy ones, carrying within them a spirit of wandering, nature, and love and connection.

Over the years, they have performed extensively across Israel, Europe and USA and including major festivals such as Fusion Festival in Germany, Colours of Ostrava in the Czech Republic, Rudolstadt Festival, Nakkel Festival in Denmark, 3000Grad Festival in Germany, Greenland Festival, as well as many other festivals and events, both large and small.

The music of JonZ is a meeting point between cultures and times. Sounds that are born in the Middle East and continue their journey through Eastern and Western Europe, England, and the United States. From this encounter, a warm, nomadic, and open musical language emerges.

In the duo performance, an intimate and optimistic dialogue unfolds between two souls seeking to understand their path in the world. The duo can be presented in both an acoustic version and an electronic version, allowing flexibility for different spaces and atmospheres. Voices, words, and melodies come together into a delicate space of listening, where the audience finds itself within the story and emotion.

In the full band performance, the music expands. Rhythm, movement, and new colors join the journey, creating a vibrant and immersive energy. The sounds open into a wider stage space, and the music becomes an experience that moves, excites, and invites the audience to become part of the motion.
